My class wiki is a space for students to display their knowledge and have discussions about what they have learned. I implement widgets and discussions to engage and excite students.
Reflection:
It took me and my students a while to grow accustomed to using the wiki. I still have trouble with students improperly formatting pages. However, I think next year, if I start earlier, then I'll be able to do more with the wiki. I especially like the discussion features. The only other problem I encountered was typing speed. I'd like to see about fitting time in for typing practice as I think it's a more valuable tool than cursive handwriting and should be focused on as such.
